a growing collage of us created from the start..

we grew like a pixel - multiplying over and  over until the image of our love covered us whole..

Reel by reel 

You play me..

unaware how you slay me..

3D explosions in my heart right from the start..

Can’t escape the moonlight of your eyes 

Your reflection is everywhere 

You burn bright within

I’ll give in

I’ll step out of the darkness and let you light the way..

we may be amateurs at this 

but the impression you left on my heart snapshot me back to life 

we have created quite a collection of where we’ve been and what’s to be..

Warrior Strong

Your vile

Your cruel

You take no fool 

Yet somehow you rule..

Insidious

Terrifying 

You bring me to my knees..

so stealth with a wealth of harm in your outstretched arm..

Beckoning slowly, 

ever so quietly 

you unleash your wrath of rage devouring me up

until I can no longer rattle free this cage..

Blanketed by a stranger that has taken over my insides

as if you own me..

I won’t stay down

I’m up again

the battle is on

I won’t give in to the bile running through my skin..

You can touch me but you’ll never take my soul, my heart or my thoughts..

I’ll fight and fight 

I won’t finish till I win it.. 

For I belong 

Hope lives on

I’m warrior-strong..

It’s silent 

can be deadly and all consuming

The power we give to thoughts..

The ones that rule our mind

The ones we ought to naught..

The questions,

the unknowns 

and all we leave behind..

what if’s

Maybes

With all its’ lost time..

Unrequited passions 

Unfulfilled dreams 

Broken moments 

Dashed hopes..

It is not always as it seems..

The longer you dwell on what you can’t foretell 

The hotter the burn from your own hell

encumbered, entangled 

crushed beneath it all 

if you keep pushing 

the harder you will fall..

set loose those thoughts that threaten to own you

Wearing you out 

until you don’t know you..

You are more than the sum of your thoughts..
